"Be the change you want to see in the world."

(Mahatma Gandhi)

Why social commitment is so important

Social engagement is indispensable in our current political and social environment, as it helps to improve people's quality of life and alleviate social problems. It promotes solidarity, cohesion and empathy in society and contributes to the creation of a fairer and more inclusive community. Long-term positive changes in society are sometimes only possible through sustainable support programmes and projects and can therefore have a successful impact across all generations.

Purpose of the foundation

Alleviating hardship, recognising needs and helping and acting promptly: This is the credo of the Chahabadi Foundation. As a private foundation, we are able to react quickly and provide help where it is needed. In this way, the lives of individual socially disadvantaged people or families can be positively influenced, which means not only a tangible, concrete improvement in the lives of those directly affected, but also an improvement in social cohesion and social peace.

Dr.-Ing. Ziaedin Chahabadi

My motives

By setting up this foundation, Dr Chahabadi wants to support important social projects that are close to his heart and thus make his own personal contribution to improving the social situation of those affected. Dr Chahabadi explains: "I realise that my positive career path puts me in a privileged position, which is by no means a given. Many people are not given these opportunities, and this is where the foundation can actively intervene: My wish is to help people who are in need through no fault of their own due to crises, wars or natural disasters!”
